God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, "What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid; God has heard the boy crying as he lies there." Genesis 21:17
Oh, Lord, I see, in this verse, an example of Your compassion. You care so deeply for Your wounded, bleeding, children (even those the world considers outcasts) that You even hear their teardrops fall! That's what Your angel told Hagar.
This comforts me, Lord, knowing You'll listen for mine.
