Gender Ideology in CPS and Prisons: Destroying Families and Hurting Women

Despite reports of declining "transgender" identification, the devastating harm from gender ideology continues.

• In numerous states, parents' refusal to "affirm" a child's transgender identification or to consent to sex-rejecting procedures is treated as "abuse" that warrants the child's removal from the home by Child Protective Services (CPS). The stories are horrific. Activist teachers, social workers, counselors, and other mandated reporters trigger child removals and investigations by reporting loving parents to CPS for refusing to use chosen pronouns, for unwillingness to call their son a "daughter," or for seeking mental health support -- instead of sex-rejecting medical procedures -- for a hurting child. Religious beliefs are characterized as bigotry and families are torn apart. Parents are left with an empty seat at the dinner table, even after judges reject the abuse claims and declare the parents 'fit.' • Incarcerated women remain unprotected from the terrifying presence of male "transgender-identified" prisoners who routinely request and receive transfers to women's prisons. Nearly half of these males are imprisoned for sex-related offenses or violence against women, yet activist lawyers demand that these "gender-dysphoric" males be permitted to bunk and shower with women. "Female inmates describe being harassed and abused by these men but fear institutional reprisal if they report it. Most women [say that]... prison officials routinely minimize sexual-assault allegations against trans-identified inmates, while female accusers are dismissed, discredited, or punished."
