Parents Fight Back

The FRC Action Team

Dear Jerry,

We want to give you the opportunity to view this recent panel discussion that exposes the tactics used by the transgender lobby and the strategies parents and taxpayers have used to fight back.

This panel will focus on the aggressive agenda that is playing out in Fairfax County, Virginia, one of our nation's largest school systems. Here are the four members of the Fairfax County community who have played a central role in resisting this imposition:

Fairfax County Public School (FCPS) board member Elizabeth Schultz received the first STAND Award by Bishop E.W. Jackson at the National Awakening Conference "for her bold stand for faith and values, in the face of opposition. She was the only member of the school board to vote against embedding gender identity into FCPS policies and continues to stand strong representing the otherwise ignored values of many Fairfax County parents." Meg Kilgannon is a parent of children in the Fairfax County school system and the Executive Director of Concerned Parents and Educators of Fairfax County, a 1,000+ member organization of parents and citizens that monitors and lobbies school board members on issues important to parents; Josh Hetzler is the Legislative Counsel for the Family Foundation of Virginia, a state policy organization which advocates for life, marriage, parental authority, religious liberty, and constitutional government; and Cathy Ruse is Senior Fellow for Legal Studies at Family Research Council.

Why experts from Fairfax County, Virginia? Fairfax County is ground zero in the efforts of LGBT activists to impose a transgender ideology on American school children. The Fairfax County school system is one of the largest and richest in the United States, and its proximity to Washington, D.C. has made it a target in the efforts of activists to mainstream this radical sexual ideology.

Parents and students must stay informed on this issue so they can better protect their freedom in our schools.
