Hi. Moms for America, partnering with Operation Outcry, is having a four-session webinar series on abortion during April which many organizations and some state governments have designated as National Abortion Recovery Month. The dates are Mondays, April 7, 14, 21, 28 at 3pmPT/ 4pmMT/ 5pmCT/ 6pmET. There are more details below. If the time is not good for you, most likely recordings of the webinars will be available at the Moms for America website.
In the description below, nine names are provided as speakers and producers of this series, and I know all of them - and I will be speaking for about 10 min. on April 7. These are all excellent speakers, and true experts related to abortion, and I believe it will be an informative series, both about abortion - and many things that are not well known - as well as faith based programs that are helpful to men and women who have experienced adverse effects from an abortion. Besides the experts mentioned, my understanding is that there will be some people who will share their personal abortion stories. I don't know who all will speak about their abortions, but I do know that many women have abortions they didn't even want in the first place, and that many women suffer distress and benefit from healing programs.
Those of my friends who homeschool may want to consider viewing this with teenage sons or daughters to incorporate this into classes related to current events, psychology, health, or religion, since abortion and abortion recovery can span these different subject areas.
For those of my friends who are doing abortion recovery ministry, I think it's likely that any of us may learn something new, and I have registered for the series myself. Dr. Theresa Burke of Rachel's VIneyard, and Sheila and Jack Harper of SaveOne will both be speaking. Consider sharing with colleagues or others who you think may be interested, though the times may be difficult for those outside the U.S.
