(2020) Rep. Dan Lipinski has represented the Third District of Illinois in the U.S. House of Representatives as a Democrat since 2005. He serves on the Science, Space, and Technology Committee and the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. Prior to his election to Congress, he was a professor of political science at the University of Tennessee and at the University of Notre Dame.
