New! Stop Societal Breakdown: Build Up Marriage

"The family has a special role to play throughout the life of its members, from birth to death. It is truly 'the sanctuary of life: the place in which life – the gift of God – can be properly welcomed and protected against the many attacks to which it is exposed, and can develop in accordance with what constitutes authentic human growth.' Consequently, the role of the family in building a culture of life is decisive and irreplaceable." - Pope St. John Paul II, Evangelium Vitae, no. 92

The Disastrous Effects of Ignoring Human Dignity!

There are many, many problems with Pornhub and MindGeek, beginning with the fact that they traffic in porn, which is a dehumanizing industry that reduces vulnerable men, women, and children to objects to be consumed. However, one of the most disturbing problems with Pornhub is its complete and utter heedlessness about the massive amounts of outright illegal, violent, misogynistic, and morally heinous content that users upload and view on the site on a daily basis.

Criminalizing the Christian View of Homosexuality

Beyond a doubt, one of the gravest threats to the freedom of Christians in many Western nations right now is posed by the efforts of LGBT activists to outlaw any form of dissent from their progressive sexual ideology.

Modern Day Eugenics: Who Lives and Who Dies?

We once believed that we destroyed the beast of eugenics on the beaches of Normandy in World War II. But we hadn't killed it; instead, we simply thrust it underground, and then allowed it to creep back into our hospitals, laboratories, and universities. To eradicate eugenics, we must drive a knife into the very heart of its poisonous philosophy.

New Euthanasia Laws Drop Illusion of "Choice"

Aging or seriously ill adults, who are no longer of any "use," can be extremely "inconvenient," in the same way an unborn baby can be inconvenient. Those who are responsible for caring for them must often make significant changes to their lives, sacrificing time and resources to comfort and care for the suffering and dying.

Pornification of Our Culture, Sexual Grooming, and the Truth about Freedom

Parents, pay attention to what your children are listening to. That is the first lesson from the stratospheric success of the so-called "song," WAP, recently released by a so-called "artist" named Cardi-B.

We Need God: Riots Erupt when Faith Dwindles

A recent poll found that 62% of Americans have political views that they are afraid to express publicly because others might find them "offensive." This is up from 58% in 2017. This poll adds to a growing body of evidence confirming what many of us began to suspect years ago – that civil discourse is breaking down.

Will Biden's "Devout" Faith Fool Pro-Life Voters?

Over at First Things last week, Prof. Robert George published a clever thought experiment. Prof. George, in case you don't know, is one of the rarest of specimens these days – an openly and proudly pro-life, pro-family, and faithfully Catholic faculty member at an Ivy League university, in this case Princeton University.

Overcome Fear by Returning to Prayer

Several times in the Bible these words are spoken either by Christ to His disciples, or by angels to those chosen for some task. "Do not be afraid!" the angel Gabriel said in greeting to Mary. "It is I," Christ called out to his terrified disciples, as He walked on the waters. "Do not be afraid!"

True Compassion: Whose Life Matters?

Abortion supporters want us to accept that abortion is an act of compassion that saves women from the burdens and the cost of raising children, especially in "hard cases." If a child, before birth, is declared as suffering from a serious illness or malformation, abortion supporters will assert that, if the pregnancy is allowed to continue, the child will have a life that will not be worth living. They focus on the child's condition, saying the best and most effective way to help the child is to terminate the child's life. Abortion, thus, is recommended out of "compassion." Of course, this is bogus.

The Cure for "Jaw Dropping" Population Decline

Predictions show that unless there is a dramatic reversal in fertility trends, 23 nations, including Spain, Japan and Thailand, are likely to see their populations be cut in half by 2100. The authors also estimate that 151 nations by the year 2050 will have a birth rate that is below replacement level (about 2.1 children born per woman).

Chinese Contraceptive Genocide: A Terror Campaign

The mainstream media has suddenly awoken to the fact that China is a genocidal regime. In a chilling and in-depth report, the Associated Press (AP) has documented the evidence that the Chinese government is crushing the Uighurs and other predominantly-Muslim populations in the Xinjiang province through widespread forced sterilization and abortion, and internment in concentration camps.

True Compassion: Whose Life Matters?

Abortion does not solve problems. Instead, it profits off the destruction of one life and the grave wounding of another. It depersonalizes women and exploits them and their situation. It dehumanizes and devalues the life of a baby, pitting a mother against her child. It also fragments the image of mother and child and in doing so, motherhood itself is devalued. This has disastrous consequences for society and culture. And finally, it portrays motherhood as a threat to a woman's independence, success, and value as a person.

Sanger's Planned Parenthood, Birthed in Eugenic Racism

To examine Sanger's writings is to take a trip into a horrific world of dehumanizing rhetoric and even more dehumanizing practical programs. For Sanger the world was divided into the "fit" and the "unfit" – those who she deemed worthy of being allowed to reproduce, so as to increase the quality of the human race, and those who should be forcibly prevented from reproducing through compulsory sterilization and segregation.

The United Nations Celebrates "The Family." But Which Family?

The family is the original cell of social life. It is the natural society in which husband and wife are called to give themselves in love and in the gift of life. Authority, stability, and a life of relationships within the family constitute the foundations for freedom, security, and fraternity within society. The family is the community in which, from childhood, one can learn moral values, begin to honor God, and make good use of freedom. Family life is an initiation into life in society.

Scorn and Hatred for Christian Charity During Covid-19

For two millennia Christians have imitated the Samaritan. Wherever Christianity has spread, networks of hospitals, orphanages, schools, food banks, homes for the elderly, leprosy and AIDS hospices, and more have sprung up, indiscriminately offering charity to anyone and everyone in need. Such charitable works are the natural and inevitable expression of what it means to be a Christian.

Anderson Cooper, Abandoned Ukraine Babies, and the Problem with Surrogacy

We must defend and state unambiguously that a human child, a being of intrinsic worth and dignity - a person - has the right to be engendered through the fruitful union of his parents and is not a product to be bought or sold. Furthermore, it is time to end surrogacy - this form of modern-day slavery - and its blatant assault upon women, children, and the goods of marriage as designed by God.

The Transgender Movement Is a Living Nightmare

Watching the progress of the transgender movement is like watching a train wreck in high speed. This ideological behemoth is hurtling through our culture at breakneck speed. But those driving the train seem utterly heedless of the path of destruction and horror they are leaving in their wake.
