Big Setback

Tom Brejcha

It's not good so I'll cut right to the chase.

The Supreme Court has rejected our request to hear David Daleiden's appeal of the "gag order" injunction the National Abortion Federation has in place to stop him from releasing more video evidence from his undercover investigation of Planned Parenthood.

This is a frustrating setback for David and our Thomas More Society team.

But I'm confident that when the smoke finally clears, David will be completely vindicated for exposing the truth about the abortion industry.

That's why I'm turning my full attention to our efforts to remove Judge Orrick from the case.

You'll recall that Orrick is the author of the gag order prohibiting David from releasing any more of his video footage.

Orrick sat on the board of the Good Samaritan Family Resource Center (GSFRC) which describes its relationship with Planned Parenthood as a "key partnership." In fact, during his tenure, GSFRC gave Planned Parenthood free space in their building to operate a clinic and free use of their staff!

Worse, Orrick's wife uses social media to show her support for Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry. She even "liked" a post that compares pro-lifers to domestic terrorists.

Clearly, this judge has no business deciding David Daleiden's fate.

In fact, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has already ordered Planned Parenthood and NAF to respond to our petition to remove Orrick.

And I'm cautiously optimistic.

But as a trial attorney, I know better than to count my chickens before they hatch.

And that's why I ask that you keep David Daleiden and our Thomas More Society attorneys in your prayers.

We've got a long fight ahead of us and I'm counting on your continued prayers and support to sustain us.

May God bless you,

Tom Brejcha – President & Chief Counsel
